World diabetes day celebrations Nov 14 2016- DCS conducted an event on the occasion of World diabetes day to create awareness amongst the public regarding Type 1 diabetes.
Andhra medical college students and our volunteers put together a flash mob at CMR Central and RK Beach.
DCS celebrated World Diabetes Day on Nov 14th 2015 at Ramakrishna Beach Visakhapatnam. The logo of World diabetes day is Blue Circle which means “Unite for Diabetes”. The slogan of DCS is “Unite for children with diabetes”.

First Annual CME Aug 30 2015
The fourth event of our society was a CME for health care professionals managing diabetes in young. Around 250 delegates participated in the one day CME . National experts in the field of diabetes in young discussed the various topics.
Inaugural Meeting Nov 16 2014
A booklet ( Telugu & English) about dos and donts for children with diabetes was released and given to children. An interactive program with children and parents took place and an exhibition was held showing the usage of insulin syringes, pens and pumps, and glucose testing machines. 25 children attended the meeting.
